Vacuum Modulator

Hi All,

I'm new to the site and have a few questions about my '95 F150 V8 with EFI. Does this setup have a Vacuum Modulator on the transmission? If yes, where is it located? Thanks in advance.

When traveling between 30mph & 50mph it feels very sluggish. I can put the gas pedal to the floor and it does nothing. Once it gets above 50mph it seems fine. It also shifts at high RPM's between 2nd and 3rd gear, but eventually it shifts. I assumed it was a VM, but since it does not have one I'm lost. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

Anything that affects power will adversely affect the way the transmission acts and shifts. Tuneup? last time transmission fluid was changed including torque converter? Any codes stored? Some things to look at.
