power steering noise

power steering noise
Does anyone have any ideas on how to quiet my trucks power steering. I put a re-man pump on 2 years ago but it made more noise then the original. I am installing a new motor now and I would like to solve this problem. I had some thoughts about perhaps using a differnt type pump but am not realy sure if it would be worth the trouble of adapting something differnt. Is there a ford alternitave from a differnt year or application perhaps. Truck is a 91 F250 with a 351.

Good question but as far as I know, all the truck power steering pumps whine.
Lets see if anyone else chimes in.

Do a search on saginaw power steering pump swap and you'll find and answer.
