well i finaly figuered out today why my lug nuts are comeing loose on my left front hub. looks like the studs (which were replaced several weeks ago) are going in too far and when i tighten the lug nuts, they bottom out on the stud. well anyways. what i did to cre the loose wheel stud problem was i welded the back of the studs in with my new mig welder. they are tight now and dont spin. i put a pretty thick weld on them. only 2 of the lug nuts botom out. i took my grinder and grinded one of them down so that it seats flush against the wheel. i know its probably not too safe top do but it works. i am going to drive the truck a couple days this week and see how they hold. work is only 2 miles each way so its not to far to get stranded. my question is where might i be able to find the hub assy that the studs go into. no auto parts stores around here seem to carry them and i cant find them any where on the net. am i stuck going with a used one from a junk yard??? i want to go new if i can. any suggestions??????
