F-250 Dually
I have come across 2 factory F-250 duallys one is my uncle's and is an older one early eightys 2wd. But I just looked at a '88 F-250 dually 4wd. They looks just like the F-350 duallys the appear to have the same axles and everything, but the gvwr is of cource lower on the F-250. Are the springs the only difference. Are they special orders viehicles. Any Info would be apreciated.

on an 88 4wd, one way to tell the difference between a 250 and a 350... a 350 will have a Dana 60 solid front axle, a 250 will have a Twin Traction beam of some sort (Dana 44 or Dana 50). So if it has a solid front axle, its probably either a 350 rebadged or a F250 that someone has performed an axle swap on. On a truck that old, don't assume that its still the same way it came from the factory.
