Helppppp!!!
it is saturday night and in trying to remove a stripped brass HFCM plug from my 2003 F-250 i cracked the housing.
my first emergency question is how do I remove the fuel lines leaving the HFCM going to the engine?
second is there anyone out there that would
1- have a part number
2- be able to get one shipped same day on monday or sooner?
please help i can ride my motorcycle on monday to work but the rest of the week is supposed to rain here in NY!!

Man....I wish I could help but these PSD's are new to me. At least this should bump your post and maybe you could call one of the sites sponsers and they could point you in the right direction. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I think you can get just the part of the housing that the "brass" plug goes in to since those were a problem that was fixed very early on. It's a steel plug now and I'm sure that part on the HCFM is a dealer only item. I don't think you have to remove the whole thing unless you cracked something else on the housing. Your dealer should be able to help.

To remove the housing, you take the side plate off that holds all the lines. Since you are getting a new housing anyway, it should come with the gaskets and "o" rings that you will need to replace it. You cannot reuse the rings as the "grow ' after use. Then just unbolt the housing from the frame. I had to do it after I crossthreaded the end cap after changing the filter.
