Leaking Tranny?
I've noticed this the last two times i've changed my oil and have wondered if anyone else has the same problem. There's a little bit of tranny fluid around the rubber plug on the bottom of my 04 fx4scab. My bronco had this from time to time but i just thought it was cause of its age. My trucks got 11000 miles on it

The rubber plug? You mean in the dust shield for the torque converter and flywheel? If it's leaking there then you have a front seal leaking. Do you drive it hard? This can cause high heat in the trans, and fluid can be forced out.

I have an '04 5.4l and have no leaks at all, anywhere. A leak is a sign of somethong wrong and should be looked at before bigger problems develop. At 11,000 mi you are still under warranty so take it in and get it fixed!
