Upgrading Fuel Injectors

Hello all, I am trying to sqeeze more performance out of my monster and have some interest in upgrading the injectors. I have a 99 Expedition 5.4L 4x4 EB and have upgraded the intake, exhaust, plugs & headers. The truck moves and sounds great now so this seems like the next logical step without going supercharger, plus I have given up on trying to salvage MPG so performance is what Im about currently =). I read an article and have been investigating prices for 24 & 30lb ones. I have also read that this will require a re-calibration of the mass flow air sensor. Does this have to be done at the dealer or will any decent shop with a computer suffice? I would appreciate any decent advice or info that might steer me in the right direction as far as having to change anything else related to the injectors or any reasons why this may not be a good idea. Thanks all.

The guys I convers with say that the injectors must be matched with the MAF. Even though this makes logical sense I think alter programming (chip) will be required. I certainly hope your notion of adding this increased fuel delivery is accompanied by forced induction; I just do think you will see any noticable improvment with just MAF/injector replacement.
