Ok i heard today bout the 6.4l diesel in the trucks in the 07. both of my diesel techs at my ford dealership here in ga told me that it wasnt a powerstroke! He said it was maybe a CUMMINS or a DETROIT diesel. Hopefully it aint a detroit! Hell if aint leakin oil it aint runnin. LOL

Dont take this the wrong way but i started a post like this and the other aspects about an '07 super duty...you need to read around before posting because it is discussed in my post...just an FYI tho ...and the engine is going to be an international 6.0l with upgraded fuel system and a bigger bore with twin turbos...thats where they get the 6.4l TT .

not to ruin anyones day or restate previous. FORD AND INTERNATIONAL have a very close business partnership.you will probably never see anything but a international engine in ford pickups in the near future.oh yeah and dont forget the 7.3 is actually a refined 6.9. so there is a good chance the 6.0 will be refined too 6.4. twin turbo i doubt though. expense would be high.

The 7.3 IDI is a re-done 6.9L. The 7.3 Powerstroke is based of of the T444E Navistar engine. Totally different. Don't get that mixed up. The 6.4L from all that I have heard, will be a staged Twin turbo set-up, on a bored and stroked 6L block. Ford engine management, and no ratings have been released, obviously, since this is all rumour. It will NOT be a Cummins. It will NOT be a Detroit diesel.
