Switching over to propane
I have a 82 f-250 that is worked daily and the 400 is about eat me up with fuel prices. I am still running a stock carb and I am getting about 8mpg. I was wondering if I would be money ahead to put a 4barrel intake and 4 barrel carb on it.
The truck is used daily to pull a 20 foot bumber hitch trailer weighing about 6-7000lbs.
If a 4 barrel is not recommended what about converting over to propane. Where is a good article for this switch, is it possible to run dual fuel. I would appreciate any advice that any of you many have.
