Front HUb Removal Help?
I am trying to remove the outer plastic housing on my front hubs, the housing that the automatic to manual **** is in. The is a lock ring that is pretty easy to remove but when its removed I still can't pull out the assembly. What's the secret? Is it more complicated than it appears it should be? All I want to do is grease inside the turn ****.

I had a bear of a time removing mine for the first time. I hit it top and bottom, with a wood block a few times as suggested on here, but that got me nowhere. I got a good set of grippy gloves, like Mechanix gloves, wrapped both hands around the whole hublock assembly, and yanked up and down while pulling out on it. Keep yanking, and banging on it and it will come out.
I had problems getting it to seat fully into the wheel knuckle too, I ended up laying on the ground and giving it a solid kick to seat it.
