Max continous safe EGT is 1275. Set it at 1250 degrees. What numbers are you running for boost?

I have the boost alert set at 30 right now.I havent really "hammered" on it yet to see how much boost it has.I only have 4100 miles on the truck and still kinda shaky about putting it to its limits being this is my first diesel.Ive ben driving it in mileage mode with the fuel set at 3 and the defuel setting at 4th and 5th.Any thoughts on how much boost is safe?im lookin at getting a bigger intercooler next and i could use some suggestions on that too. Thanks

30 is about where you want it. The head gaskets on the older 7.3 were good up to the mid-40s, the 6.0 doesn't handle that high as well.
