Im not an exp owner - but in general
run you power cable thru on the same side that your battery is on
this will keep your wire shorter and eliminate some cable routing
alot of newer vehicles will have a knock out hole in the fire wall
which is the best thing to use-- look around with a flashlight
if you cant find one -- next option is drill a hole and use a grommet
to protect the wire
I also wire loom all power wires b4 installing them for added protection
