Ok, no worries, you will probably be set up as the interim leader - and I can change it later

Hey FLgargoyle,
I wouldn't think something pesky like living in Florida for the moment would prevent you from from joining the chapter. Drop Rich a PM. He can set you up with a coming to SC countdown clock like he has.lol.
If you're serious, send me a PM with your contact info and we'll get your slot on the roster ready.Don is also from Florida, and he hasn't caused us too much trouble yet. ha ha

Regarding nominations: definately Rich for Prez. He's the one who actually motivated this thing to start with, so it follows logically that he should be the first presidente of the chapter. Like I stated in the email, I don't mind being the "XO" and doing the paperwork, website and such, but if anyone wants the job from me, take it.lol. That'll give me more time to wrench on my truck.

Sounds good!...
I'm sure the rest of the guys (&gals?) will be happy to see this thing take off.

**Big, you can disregard the PM... We'll handle all that at the first g2g.

Talking

Congrats and welcome to the Club!

I'm just "interim" right now, so the future Leader spot could be had. Then there is...
Events coordinator-
Chapter photographer-
Treasurer(?)

I'm sure I forgot a position in there....

Wow, what an abundance of talent in the FTE ranks! Admin by day, stand up comedian by night.lol
Got a ton of stuff to do this weekend: get the kids, got to do the yard, dog to the vet for shots (hateful little beast), prep for september yard sale (wifes idea, not mine) blah blah blah.
Anybody in the SC chapter have a big garage I can retreat to for some peace and quiet? lol
Everybody have a good one, I'll log on later

Hey, Glad to be back............

As Dave said, I'm in the process of home buying, ( I'll Kick his *** later),
I give my support to "Rich", and FLgargoyle, I'm from from the the swamps of north Fla..We can show Dave how to Stump jump without braking our front wheel drive shaft.... . Anyway, I've seen & heard alot of good Idea's, when are we going to get together......and where ?

Anyway just thought I'd checked in

Everyone have a great week-end, Rich, keep your head low

OK Goob, first of all, I didn't break the front shaft stump jumping...there was a tree in my way. I showed it who was boss (at the cost of the pinion shaft) so there. Ha Ha Ha.
I've been contacted by a member of the forum who wants to join the chapter, so lets give a welcome to senior user cheggie. I dropped him a pm asking him to post here and on the roll call threads.
Update on the Big Red Ronin: Yesterday I took the bed off the truck to start the rebuild and I got it tore apart today. Thats a fun job for 1 person.lol. I'll be getting some P.T. plywood to replace the plate steel the idjit P.O. put on the truck on payday this week.
On to chapter business... so have we all decided where we're going to attempt to meet for out first G2G? There'll be a couple of members that won't be able to make it, so we should try to get the general meeting itenerary (sp) together in advance so the absentee members can agree. We have a majority vote for Rich as interim (and future) president
I'll be sending a mass email with a few questions on it in the next few days, so be on the lookout.

Lets do this, OK?

Dave
