Ok, I am putting a 3' body lift on my 97 f-150 4x4 extended cab. I have chosen 285/75/16 as my tire size, and am going to get some wheels....
ALL of my driving is road/street, and no off-road. I am looking for a tire that rides well, good pavement tread life, and an agreesive sidewall look. (I will sacrifice some road noise if need be)
What do you think?
Here is a couple I am seeing a lot about
Firestone Destination
Goodyear MT/R
Try the Goodyear MT/D.(SAM'S club only) Better off road yet less road noise then the Goodyear MT/R. Plus cheaper as well. These tires are not seconds, they are custom built for SAM'S and have some extra features. Ribbed side walls and a center bead in the tire to help stop the tire from tracking the cracks in the road.
