I just replaced the booster and master cylinder in my 84 F-150. I tought I would remeber how to put the pedal linkage back together, but of course I can't now. It's not clear to me exactly how the brake light switch works. It seems to work on a spring mechanism, but I'm not clear on what the spring should push against.

If anyone could tell me how the switch works and where it should be positioned, I'd really appreciate it.
