kwik filter mod....
have mine done and after going through carwash filter was a little wet...did you guys that did this leave the top piece on over the battery? Just curious dont really want to deal with a wet filter when I drive in rain or snow.....Thanks

No wet problems here either, been through rain so heavy you couldn't see the front of the hood.
Been through water up to the bottom of the door at moderate speed, no water on it from the underside either.
Hand wash mine too.
