Brief History

Why isn't there a brief history of this web-site?

I think it would be nice to have a paragraph or two to educate people on when/how this site was formed; who formed it.

Also maybe a time line.

Maybe put it on the home page or something.

Oh! If there is one; where is it?

Ben,
Awesome idea!

As somewhat of a newby, I'd be very interested in the history.

There is one and I'm sure there's a simple place to find it - I just haven't found that place yet.

Many theories abound, however, I like the one where Henry Ford hid a secret manuscript in Ford part numbers and Ken Paine translated it with a home brewed algorithm.

Or, you can look here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/history.html

So if I didn't have the url you gave me, how would one find this info?

I think there should be a link on the home page to the history of this web-site.

But that's just my opinion.

The question comes up enough that just posting the link satisfies. Like I said, there might be an easy place to find it, but getting creative with the search feature usually works for me.

If you think about it, everyone that posts on the forum is part of the history. The information is more important than the medium.

There it is! Right under "the beautiful women of SEMA". I usually don't get past that, no wonder I've never found it...

Oh! Now I see it.

Sorry about that.

I guess I should put on my glasses and turn the monitor on.
