I am still having a problem with brake fluid spilling out the master cylinder.( '76 250 2wd) smilie('')

I was told to replace the master cylinder, because there might be a problem internally. I did, but it still spills out.
The reason it is spilling out is when I step on the brake pedel, the front reservoir (back brakes)shoots a stream of brake fluid into the air.
Without the cover I could empty it in no time. With the cover I need to top it off every 2 weeks, not to mention a good cleanup job from the fluid.
I have also replaced the brake lines, hoses, front calipers, pads, and shoes.smilie(':-staun')

About the only thing I haven't replaced is the proportioning valve. Having said that will a valve from another truck work as long as it has disks in the front?
Sorry for on so, but this is driving me nuttier.smilie('')

Are you sure you have the gasket on right and the top properly located? It's normal to shoot some fluid up when you pump the brake. The pressure you build is released.
Hi, https://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/Images/wink2.gif
The gasket came installed on the cover with the rebuilt master cylinder.
The gasket bellows sit inside the cover and when the fluid is low it sucks the front bellow down. This is the third master since I got the truck. All three have "leaked" like this.https://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/Images/smhair.gif
Thank you,
Jeff
I don't have a solution other than the master cylinder itselt. My son's truck had the same problem; we replaced the cylinder and cured the problem. Having done this at least twice already I can understand your reticence to accept this a the solution but what else could it possibly be?

All of them were remanufactured. One from NAPA, the other from National Bushing. I have no idea about the "original" one.https://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/Images/rotz.gif
