Rear storage ideas?

I have an '03 Expy and was just wondering what others were doing for rear cargo storage. I don't haul a lot of stuff, but usually have my mountain biking gear, BMX gear, some tools, beach stuff for the weekends, etc. It's usually not a lot of stuff so I was thinking maybe a plastic toolbox type setup like for the back of a pick-up. Has anyone done anything like this with any success? Any other ideas? I finally got a plastic cargo liner, so the dog hair and sand clean-up is much easier now, but I just need to get organized back there.

I use milk crates... It also helps keep things from rolling all over in the back.

i just use the plastic storage bins w/lids you can get from target/home depot...etc. you can find pretty much any size you might want. not sure if you can get your mountain bike in one though.

No, this wouldn't be for the bikes themselves, but the associated gear, ie. helmets, shoes, gloves, etc. Thanks for the ideas.
