Ive been with FTE for a while.First time on this forum.Got a351w in my 58 F100.Its suppose to be out of a 71 cougar.Can anyone give me some specifics on it or a place to get em.

2 or 4 barrel carb? They were available either way in the Cougar that year, the 2 barrel had 9.0:1 compression and was rated at 240hp/4600 rpm, 350fp/2600 rpm torque.
The 4 barrel had 10.7:1 comp. and 285hp/5400rpm, 370fp/3400 on the torque. Is that what you were looking for? -TD

You might also try to get a book such as FORD PERFORMANCE by Pat Ganahl.
It's a pretty good book on Ford engine performance building and has engine specifications as well.
It does cover all modern Ford engines.
