Since this is a truck forum I will keep it to my trucks rear end and not my wife's. Ooooh I hope she won't be looking over my shoulder.
My 93 F-250 HD Extended cab is starting to sag noticably in the rear drivers side. I have looked around on line and in town for new springs but can't seem to find any that do not include a lift. The local spring shop recommended i not try to re-arch the old ones. Any suggestions?
Hey thanks Tim! Took a little searching to find them but I did. And a good proce too. $200! Most I have found with lifts are close to $400 and it was more than that to re-arch them. Now I just have to figure out how much #130 is going to hurt to ship.
Your HEAVY DUTY F250 might take the other springs that are $225 +$20 crate fee + shipping for 185#. Please call them before ordering to confirm. From the pics it seems the heavier ones have 6 leafs and the lighter ones have 5.
I'm in the process of ordering springs for my f150 too
Popa Tim
I noticed those springs as well. I counted my leafs and there are only 5, but I thinkyou are right that I should go the heavier route. Do you think they would still ship UPS? I am trying to figure what shipping might be. I guess I can give them a call tommorrow and find out. I think I should also get new U-bolts and hardware. When you mention bushings are you talking about for the springs or the shackle. It looks like the picture shows the bushings in the springs.
