I have a 1994 F-250 4x4, 125,000 miles. My headlights have started to flicker and go out. Get this only when the truck is running and in reverse. Shut the motor off and they come on or quit flickering. I pulled my trailer plug-in out and put the tail set up back to normal, checked fusses and wires and grounds. I have not pulled the dash out yet. Ever hear of anything like this. Thanks Mark Rehr eastern Iowa

Sure, I would have suggested loose wires, weak grounds, all the stuff you checked.
Also check the headlight switch, maybe it's dying or the connector on the bottom is loose, maybe the spade in the fusebox is loose and wiggling... you're on the right path!
had same problem in both a 94 and 93 it was the wires going to switch they try and melt to the switch to fix just put on new connectors and hook back up never had problem again
I pulled the light switch out and the wires look new, I cleaned the contacts and put it back and still have the flickering lights. I may try a new switch. I also had the lights on and played with the wires and connectors while the switch was out with no luck.Mark
Somethings loose!
Check the body ground located just in front of the battey. Clean it up really good!
Check the solenoid too. Maybe a wire there is loose/corroded.
Found a broken ground from the body to the frame and fixed. I found a broken bracket with a ground from the firewall to the engine and fixed it. Cleaned contacts. My lights still go out in revers with the motor running and come on when I shut the motor off. I hooked up my snow plow witch I have had since the truck was new and the lights work just fine. I also put on a new brake cross over line between the front wheels, it was leaking in the middle. Mark
