Cab Swap

Can I swap a 1985 cab and front clip onto a 1972 frame, and how much work?

alot of work since the mounts on the two are totally different. you would need to weld the mounts up in the right position to do it.

Rob, I think that unless you have a special frame that you just have to have, I would look for an 85 to 96 chassis to work with. With some hard looking, you should be able to come up with one fairly cheap. I think 86 was the last year for the 9" rear.
