When I ordered my 390 they asked EGR or nonegr engine, do they build them a different way. The reason I ask is because when I ordered my about a 1year ago I got the EGR one because I had one on mine. But now I'm going to take it off because I'm going to a four bbl intake and carb. Can any one explain the difference?
Blue,
There is a port that allows exhaust gasses to recirculate when used with the egr plate. This port could be blocked off to eliminate the EGR. If your going for the street/strip mode just order one for non-egr and get on with it!

The EGR is the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve. It is an emission control that reduces the NOx or oxides of Nitrogen that form during the combustion process. The valve circulates a small amount of exhaust gas back into the engine at certain times to reduce combustion temperatures. On an "EGR" engine there are frequently passages buit into the intake manifold to supply the exhaust gas to the EGR valve. A non-EGR manifold will not have these passages. The EGR valve does not have any effect on the maximum power output of the engine. Without an EGR valve the engine will ping under light throttle loads unless the distributor advance curve is changed.

I just ordered the Edelbrock intake and Ceb for my 75 F100 390. It has a egr 2bbl intake with a motorcraft 2100 on it right know. Will I be able to tell a big difference in it. Has anyone else done this and what difference could you tell?
I hope it comes in before saturday so I can put it in saturday.
