I just started working for a towing company and noticed a 73 F100 in there yard. Stright very clean been sitting there a while has a 360 not running 9inch rear end c6 auto owners wife said they where going to crush it but she wouldnt let (them) being her husband the owner/my boss. wondering what its worth and what i should offer any help would be great.

 

Tough to say with out seeing the truck or knowing where you are. Here in the rust belt a clean rust free box and cab alone will run you well over $2k but in the south they are plentiful and much much cheaper.

No photos but I can get some buy saturday. Its very clean I would guess a one maybe two owner rig i see a lot of possibilities with this truck and know i can get it fairly cheap and belive me last thing i need is another truck. but mostly wondering what there true value is thanks

I don't know what they're selling for in Oragon. Down here in Texas...some of the odd ball trucks like super cabs, 4 wheel drives, and SWB's are a little pricey. A good one can be had for around 1500 or less, but some get a little more expensive. The regular plaine jane single cab long wheel base trucks as mentioned above are dirt cheap. I've had 2 of them that I got for 300, and I've never paid more than about 100 for a good parts truck. Your best bet would be to look through the classifieds here on FTE and see what they are selling for in your area.

$300 for a good truck!? Makes me want to move to Texas, well almost.

 

I paid $400 for my inspected and good running 77 and i'm in Pittsburgh,PA. good deals can be found anywhere you just need to look hard to find them.
