I just bought my first PSD about 3 weeks ago. I have installed the superchips program. Everything was lovely until yesterday. I was on a 200 mi trip and I made a stop and started to go again and I noticed the trans felt sloppy in the 1-2 shift and actually slipped in the 2-3 shift. I stoped again and check fluid level (it was ok). Started again and nothing. Later on in the trip it did it a few more times.
It does not do it every time that I take off and run through the gears. But it does it more when warm, it seems.
Any ideas?
The trans was repaced by Ford about 8mo ago and no heavy pulling has been done. I bought the truck from my cousin, that is how I know.
Was thinking about the sonnex valve kit and a new converter.

Did the O/D light blink?
I just bought a 2002 F-350 with the 4R100 and it needed a new T/C and solenoids just two weeks after buying it used.
i bought the Ford ESP extended warranty and they replaced the parts for just the $100 deductible, thank God!
I bought a MAG HYTEC tranny pan and i am going to run a inline filter and extra cooler and also run Mobile 1 ATF
Going to start towing my 98 tacoma 4x4 with a flatbed trailer
def consider a aftermarket tranny temp gauge as well
one other thing... does the sc allow you to pump up the tranny line pressure for firmer shifts..? if not you CAN mess up your tranny... you should deffinately get the sonnax valve even if you can boost shift firmness... my predator lets me do that, but the sonnax does the job better...
