Tire Rod Installation Help.......
Hi, I need some info on installing the 2 Tire Rods in the front. I have a 99 Explorer 4wd. Now , just wondering is this an installation ok to do at home? I also wanted to know, do I have to jack up the truck? Thank you for any info and how long does it take? Just wondering.Thanks.

Are you trying to replace the entire tie rod or just the outer tie rod ends that attach to the steering knuckle? The outer ends are easy, count the turns when removing the old one's and use the same number of turns to install, then have the toe-in set.
