You have a fault in your supplemental restraint system, SRS. Count the flashes. There should be a number of flashes followed by a pause then a number of more flashes followed by a pause. This gives you a two digit number that will tell you where the fault is. After a number of theses sequences the light will then stay on. Most likely a 36 or 37 indicating a problem with the driver's or passenger's seat, respectively. Oftentimes a a problem with a connection under the seat caused by people sticking their feet under the seat. Count the flashes and report back for more details.
There are lots of posts covering the air bag fault codes. It would be a good idea to do a search of the Explorer forums, rather than have everyone repeat themselves.
Back from vacation and read your answer to my thread. It's blinking 3 then 7 so that means 37. There's connections under the seat possibly loose???? Is that where I start?
