evil junk in drivers vent
Had a mouse nest or something equally yucky in the drivers vent box. Took the cover off and fished a bunch of stuff out with a screwdriver. Is it possible to put the hose to it from the inside to flush it out? Kind of smells bad.

you will probably want to clean the passenger side too
My dash went up in flames when the blower motor resistor malfunctioned a caught fire. My vents were clean but the plastic burned anyway, I have heard horror stories about leaves catching fire and burning up a great truck.

I have a question, Lets say I had a crap load of pine needles in my entire heater because the truck had been siting for about 14 years... How would I take out all of my heater? Case and everything? Would it be hard ? I also have to patch a hole in the heater case where the heater core is becuase the PO drilled a screw into it and had to cut a hole in the case to patch the hole. Dont ask me why he didnt just take out the case?
