switching front buckets to bench??

Just wondering if it was possible to switch front buckets with a bench seat?

I don't see why not. The 40/20/40 bench from a 250 or 350 should work fine.

I was at the wreckers yesterday getting a body mount for my X after I had read your post. The easy mounts are under the front carpet. I tried an F350 and an F450 and noticed that the mounting bolt locations on both vehicles front bench was identical to the X. The center section spans the console location. I didn't take a hard look but it looks like a quick swap. And cheap as there are lots of wreckers out there who seem not to value the seats in their vehicles. Make 'em an offer they can't refuse...

Excursions are (were?) available from Ford with a front bench, so it should be no problem...

I have the split bench from the factory in my X and its the same as a couple Superduty's I just test drove with my cousin, so I would think they should be the same.

the xlt came with a bench but no leather option for the bench in the x dont know if the f series has a leather bench. but if you want cloth they made them with that! i can be without my leather
