Steering Wheels
I have a 79 F-250. The steering wheel is getting worn out to the point that it gouges your fingers on occasion. My question is: Do the newer F series wheels have the same spline as the old ones???

They have a different center pad & style.
Why not just get a replacement steering wheel for yours?

I belive the ones out of the 80's vans will fit. One out of a 87 econoline works well. A nice find would be an old ford leather wrapped one

Go to Autozone and buy a GT steering wheel, I did. The best $100 w/ adaptor i ever spent. It really makes your truck feel like it steers better b/c its so much smaller, makes it easier to drive! Go w/the aftermarket man!!
