E-350 based RV owners...

I have a 1997 Fleetwood RV built on an Econoline E-350 superduty cab/frame.

Anybody else have one of these with a V-10 in it?

I've only owned this for one year and it had 89,000 miles on it when I bought it.

Right now I'm just over 100,000 miles and I'm wondering what kind of preventative maintenance I should be doing to it, or anything I could do to help longevity because of the fact that its an RV and carrying around a lot of extra weight (12,000 lbs empty).

I'm looking at normal stuff like plugs, wires, timing belt, etc on the V-10, but also wondering if I should put in an extra transmission cooler or anything else to help it last another 100,000 miles.

Not sure if this thread should be in the V-10 or transmission forums, as the question may apply differently to the fact that its an RV and has to haul a LOT more weight around than a normal E-350 does. Regardless, if the moderators feel it would be better to split it and move it, let me know and I'll promptly comply...

TIA,
Sam

Yes, extra tranny cooling is always a good idea.

plugs yes! wires, there is none. timing belt is a chain, don't touch it. i would add a cooler but not the self regulating ones.
