maximum tire size

What is the largest tire you can put on a 1999 PSD 4wd? I have a set of 305/70r/16 from Bridgestone that don't rub at the present time.

That's about as big as you can go stock. Most guys will put between 285 and 305 without major problems. Usually 305 is where guys will get minor rubbing on the inner fender liner. Even that is minor.

I have a 01, F250 4x4, and I have 315's on it, they only rub in a hard over condition and have never bottomed out that I know of!
