C6 transmission linkage?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-14-03 AT 10:18 AM (EST)]Will the manual shift lever from a mustang work in a truck or do I need to get the longer lever off the truck. The transmission that I am installing is out of a 73 Mustang and the shift lever is alittle shorter.

your shifter won't line up properly on the column unless you use the right arm. i assume you have a 4X4? the arm is damn similar to a floor shift mustang. i will tell you that the floorshift arm from a mustang is worth at least 100.00 on e-bay where a truck arm is only worth 25.00. i'll swap you one though! hawkrod
