Hello,
I have a 98 Ranger 2WD 3.0 that tends to squeak from time to time. I am sure the sound is coming from the control arm bushings. Before I take it in and have the mechanic tell me something different, what can I do to quiet the noise. I have tried to spray WD-40 with no luck, is there a better spray lubricant I can use for the short term.
Thanks,
JM
I use silkolene chain lube from my dirt dike. It penetrates good and saturates, and is a little gooey and lasts a long time. It solved my leaf spring bushing squeeks.
