Exclamation Brake help

I just finished a brake job on my 2001 F-250. New ceramic pads, turned rotors, extended brake lines due to recent lift. Attempted to bleed brakes using a vacuum bleeder, but after 2 1/2 bottles of fluid, I did it manually with my wife's help. Bled them until I got no air. Drove it, and I still have air somewhere. Pedal is spongy and doesn't stop very well. Also pulls to the left. All of the rotors were getting hot, but the fronts were hotter than the rear. Left front was the hottest.

Is there a trick to getting all the air out that I don't know about? I went through 3 1/2 bottles of fluid and started at left rear, then right rear, right front, then left front. No leaks anywhere. Hopefully someone knows a trick.

Also, I installed Performance Friction ceramic pads. I had read in a lot of places that these were better than stock. I am hoping my bleeding problem is the casue of the poor stopping performance. If not these will definitely go back and I will just go with O.E. pads.

Ken,
I had that same problem with mine, My solution was a set of Russell speed bleeders. They replace the bleeder valves with a oneway valve that will allow relief when you back off 1/4 turn, cool thing is a monkey can bleed my brakes now with no screw ups. Your pads are going to seem like they suck until they are seated properly, This just happens over time.

Went back this morning and was done within 1 hr. Drove the truck for about 2-3 hrs off and on and the longer I drove the better the brakes got. Guess I was just tired and disappointed at 9:00 last night. Everything is good to go now.

Now for the flares!!

Anytime I have done the brakes on my truck it pulled for the first week. Seems to be related to compressing the calipers. Unknown as to why it does it. Must be a Superduty thing

After driving yesterday, no pulling. Pulled slightly to the left at first, then less slightly to the right, then no more at all. Everything is great. This was with 4 new calipers by the way. Had a piston froze on one of the front calipers, so I replaced all 4. I hate having to re-do a job six months later because of something I didn't see the first time.
