Repair Mamual

I'm looking for a repair manual for my '86 F-250. Need to know which publisher will give the best info and where to order. I've tried some of the local parts stores and none carry it in stock.

i've got a '86 250 6.9 and i'd like to find one too, but i don't use ebay. any other ideas?? an owner's manual would be nice too.

I use chilton on all my cars, great help and great info.

Both Chilton's and Hayne's manuals are pretty informative, and I usually buy both, as it seems one fills in the blanks that the other might leave. I lucked out a few years ago, and managed to buy a small library's worth of proffessional grade(older) manuals that cover a broad spectrum of cars and trucks from a garage that was closing down. A lot of them I sold to friends who had/have a particular type of vehical so they could make use of them.

If these don't come up, go to ebay and do a search on 1986 Ford truck manuals.

I also have a set of factory manuals for 84 Ford trucks that I would like to sell.

I prefer Chilton, but I don't like their "Chilton Total Car Care CD" because you can only register one truck (year) with it(Per cd key). Well I have components from 1976 right to 1988 On my 81 f250! One year just does not cut it!

But on the other hand! FTE was a much bigger help than my Chilton and Haynes combined.
