I think this will come back and bite them. It's like buying on credit, you get what you want now but pay for it down the road. I suspect next year will be a very down year because they have sold their next year customers this year and they won't be in the market for several years. Many of the customers for the next design pick-up will still be upside down with their loans when they come out.
Ford may follow and then the entire industry in America will have a really down year or two.
