Question Ts Chip Owners

well i got it in the mail today and here are my results. i am sure i will be bashed for these also but wtf here goes:

my boost is significantly better in all gears.

my egts have not changed at all same as with no chip nothing over 1100. from everything i have ever learned here this doesn't make sense to me. more fuel equals more exhaust. maybe they aren't changing because it's not all being burnt?

my black smoke is a lot more especially on the fuel 7 setting.

my volt meter is considerably low with this chip plugged in no matter what setting. comparable to when you first start truck and gp's are activated and you let it idle the volts are around 10ish. this is how it is even after driving for a considerable amount of time and then coming to an idle it drops. i know more fuel equalls more power required to fire injectors right? anybody experiencing similar readings/ results? thanks

if not i guess my truck is afu.... and if that's the case first $5 takes it......not

Don't know why ya thought ya would get bashed????? I got a T Wildman multi pos chip which is very similar to the ts chips and haven't had any volt trouble?? Cant help ya their. As far as egt's the only time I see high temps is towing.
One thing to check is make sure the GP's are turning off. Maybe something screwed up in the program is keeping them on?? Just an Idea??

I got one in my 01 and dont have any voltage issues, no lower idle or charging problems. The 100hp can make the EGT's jump to 1100 and 1200 real easy, and the 140 fly's up there and would go past if I dont let off quick, but I'm still running the stock dp and 3.5 exhaust, I just dumped the stock muffler for a BTM. The 70 you have to work at it to get to 1100. Idle wise and at all the normal driving speeds the EGT's are the same as stock and I think the idle temp is lower on the 50hp setting. Boost wise though, I can bury the needle on my 30 pound guage in all 3 of the top settings, so I keep an eye on that until I go do some turbo upgradeing. Have you called TS? They may be able to shed some light on it for ya. Hope it works out, I have been real happy with mine.

With the OBS truck with stock injectors, Ya won't see any big jump in egt's. Get some bigger injectors and then the story would be different.
