AC Charging

89 BII 2.9 w/factory air:

When adding refrigerant do you add it as liquid or gas? (Can right side up or upside down?)

it depends on the refrigerent. read the bottle it will say either up or down.

Yeah, that's the problem. The can says hold can upright for gas or upside down for liquid. It's been converted to 134a if that helps any.....

if you dont add it upside down you will be there all day, just do it slowly and you will be ok. i always add it as a liquid now, i just keep the pressure around 40 psi when charging.
