it's the little things

put in new core support, rebuilt radiator, valve cover gaskets, thermostat, heater hoses, etc... all went well except I forgot to make a note of the heater hoses. Does the inboard hose out of the firewall go to the block or the water pump. it's the little things that get you in the end. My chilton does not say, search yeilded no results, any help would be great.

The line closest to the heater motor (pass side fender) goes to the block, the other goes to the water pump. It really won't matter though, water will flow any direction.

the hose size sometimes are different. When they aren't it doesn't really matter.

They are the same, all should be good no matter how he does it. Then again, the hoses tend to form to a certain shape after awhile, so usually its not too hard to get them back in the right place, at least it wasn't for mine.

There are on some models the three hoses, the return T's off to the base of the rad. This hose is 1/2" not 5/8" it is a heating/cooling hose for the auto trans fluid in the base of the rad.

Would that smaller hose be mainly on the E-series?
