Idle Up Question
I read the guide to installing it myelf but i have a question about the read out on the dash. In the guide the pic shows "tach 1200" or so on the dash screen...but the pick below also shows the read out of "tach 650" . I havent done the mod yet but i cant get mine to show a tach read out. Will it start when i do the mod? it cant be only when the idle is in the UP position cause then it would never read "tach 650" right? can you get it to stay on all the time. not that i would i mean i have a big ol' gauge right above it thats easier to read. just a little worried and nervous about doing the mod. I kinda need it as my truck idles 1-3 times a day for about 15min being the longest once in awhile it idles for as much as 25min and i know i should be using the "tach 1200" mod.
Just trying to get all the info i can before i do it. Is it as easy as it sounds.? anyone have problems doing it? It seems easy enough when i looked at it in the tech folder but you never know right and i would hate to mess up the computer or something...
