Found Problem
A little bit ago I was having problems with what was thought to be my starter or ring gear on the flywheel, well I pulled the motor yesterday and the ring gear was eaten righto ff on the one side, and I pushed on it and I could spin the ring gear around on the flywheel, so the starter was jsut spinning the ring gear, I found a flywheel that is the right size, now all I haveto do is pull the 400 outta the bronco change the stuff around so that it works in a manual tranny and I'll be laughing. oh by the way, that was my first time pullign an engine or doing anyhting without dad prettymuch doing it cuz hes had old fords for a long time
