Question

i have a 01 , 7.3 liter Excursion and when i make a left hand turn i hear a noise in my front right tire area. i have stock size tires and was wondering if you guys could help me out thanks Ed

Is it on the freeway? Long sweeping turn? Or a more abrupt turn like into a parking lot?

Ball joint, tie rod ends, drag link..... Look for loose joints. Bite the bullet and fix them. LOT's of cars and trucks come in to various shops around the country on the towtruck with separated joints and very wide eyed drivers.

It would be a good idea, to lift the truck, remove the tire anc check for wear. You do not want it to break on you in the middle of no where.

Question answered

Gang , just got back from the garage and they told me i have a cracked backing plate that is why i get that noise also my ball joints are showing signs of wear and need replacing. so after the hoiliday i will get them fixed ... thanks for everything.....you guys are great ,,,,Big Ed
