plug gap on 4 wheeler

just wondering what the spark plug gap is on a mid to late 80s honda 250cc 4 wheeler? and does anybody know how to tell what year it is?

There should be a label on the front of the frame somewhere that states the year/make/model.

Is it chain driven or shaft driven?

its a 1986 honda trx 250 fourtrax shaft drive. found the id sticker-it was covered in mud. also you no where u can get a decent air filter 4 it cheap?
