Hello all! Here's another one for ya. I'm new to this forum (but not new to forums in general). I've been a ford man for many years. I don't have anything new (unless you count Volvo as a Ford derivative). I have been through a series of Broncos from 1986 to 1992. I still have the '92 with 165K on its tired old 350. No major mods just bigger tires and wheels, better shocks. It's going away soon. I have a 1993 F250 Diesel with a Banks Turbo on it. We just picked it up recently as a beater truck to haul our horses, tack, feed and kids around in.
I am interested in maintaining it and maybe doing a few tweaks here and there. this looked like the best source of inside info on getting the most out of this pickup. I have no clue about diesels so this will be a learning experience. My goal is to upgrade to a new F250 or 350 in a few years. But for now...we have what we have so we won't worry too much if it gets dirty...gets a few dings...gets driven by a 16 year old girl .
Well, there's the short of it. I hope to meet y'all on the forums soon. Take care.
Ray
