Clarion CD Player
Quick question for you guys. I have the opportunity to purchase a Clarion CD player from a friend for $150. I am not sure the model or anything but will find out on the weekend when I take a look at it. Now for the question...Is Clarion a good brand? I don't know much about this brand and would like some opinions.

do your homework b4 you spend a dime
some times used electronics is a real gamble
depending on what you want
an online purchase of 150-200 can get you a brand new quality
head unit of your choice with a warranty

One other thing...What do you guys think of this sub? I want to buy two of them but was again curious your opinions.

I have one more question regarding the Clarion HU. I was doing some research on the model and it says that an External Amplifier is Required. The HU is a Clarion DRX9375R. Is this a common thing on Clarion HU's. Am I understanding right that in order for it to work I will need an External Amplifier? Any info would be great.

yes you are correct --
you WILL need a external power amp to use this head unit
this type of head unit configuration is common
with alot of manufacturers top of the line or competition geared
equipment
