self adjusting brakes?
does my 63 have self adjusting brakes or do they need to be manualy adjusted. Been getting a bad pull lately. My brakes are pretty soft and I bled them alone so they may need to be bled a little more but seem pretty solid. The truck is a 2wd F100 I6 pretty much all original.

Well,
My '63 223 F-100 has strictly manual brakes. That's what I like about it. No self-adjusters, no dual master cylinder, and has the uni-servo single piston front brakes.
I like basic simplicity.

My brakes started pulling and it turned out to be a leaking wheel cylinder. Mine pulled right and it was the left cylinder that was leaking. Replaced the cylinder and put new shoes and now she brakes straight.

I could be wrong here, but I do believe that these trucks did have self-adjusting brakes. It was the drive in reverse and tap the brakes method. Seems to me that I read that in the manual for my '66. Never tried it though.
