I have a '88 F150 with a 300 EFI. On several occassions after making a hard left turn it will surge and then it seems to be running out of gas. It will stall and won't start.
Now heres the kicker!!!! If I pour a small bit of gas down the intake it will start and run rough for a couple of minutes, smooth out and then will be fine for a couple of months. This is driving me CRAZY!!!!! No-one seems to have a fix.
I've changed the cap, button, wires, plugs, fuel filter and air filter. No good!!!
If it was the fuel pump why is it ok for a couple of months?
I can't trust it not to happen in the middle of an intersection!!!
If I can't get a fix I may have to get rid of it.
HELP!!!!!!

When you go to the left and it stalls and will not reprime on its own is strange. You could be getting airlocked. Does it only do it when the fuel is low?
