undercarage rust
What is the best way to prevent rust on the undercariage and what is the best way to take care of the rust that is already there. I've had the truck for a year and it was rusty when i purchased it. I dont want it to get any worse. Any help is great!

I sprayed mine with oil. I have a spray wand that was orignally for washing motors that I drilled out the passesages so that it will spray oil. Suction hose goes to a 5 gal can of oil. Other hose to air compressor. I use old hydrolic oil saved from oil changes on tractors. We do the same with some of our other equipment, some that handles very corrosive stuff like nitrogen fertilizer and it is the only way to minimize rusting short of sandblasting and repainting.

that sounds pretty messy, what im doin on my bronco is using a wire brush to get the rust off, and rough up the surface. then im putting a few coats of POR-15, the best rust paint i ever used
